About Kight Engineering

Robie Kight, Jr., P.E. graduated from Mississippi State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Kight has over 25 years experience in civil, structural and environmental engineering serving in both the public and private sectors.
Mr. Kight holds membership in The National Society of Professional Engineers, the Mississippi Engineering Society, The Jackson Association of Realtors, The Jackson Association of Home Builders, The Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau

Mr. Kight is a designer of the innovative Precision Piling System (Precisionpilings.com) (patent pending) which has been used successfully in underpinning and repairing existing foundations. The Precision Piling System is also installed on new construction to provide pilings into stable soil before the foundation is installed. Mr. Kight owns an interest in Structural Solutions, LLC (Structuralsolution.NET) an engineering and contracting company that specializes in foundation repair, drainage improvements, waterproofing and elevation of flood prone structures.
